The city of Huangshan in east China’s Anhui Province will hold a Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) forum on June 9-10.
The 2023 RCEP Local Governments and Friendship Cities Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum, hosted by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Anhui provincial government, aims to enhance mutual understanding between the governments of the RCEP member countries, explore business opportunities, and promote mutually beneficial cooperation. The RCEP has 15 member countries, including China, who together account for 30 percent of both the global population and GDP.
Themed “Regional Cooperation for a Win-Win Future,” the forum will host online and offline activities, including a dialogue among the friendship cities of the member countries, a conference on cooperation between the member countries’ development zones, and a conference on cultural and tourism industry cooperation. It will also include a symposium on life and health and an exhibition on cultural and tourism products.
